In the villages of Siraikadu and Chellong Colony, the children were finding it very difficult to commute to schools as the schools were far away and the roads were not proper. Parents and volunteers used to take multiple kids in a single bike to transport the kids to schools. This was a huge safety concern and Nizharkudai stepped in and arranged transportation facility for these two tribal villages, ensuring that the students can travel 5 to 12 kilometers to the surrounding towns of Bodinayakanur and Periyakulam to attend their schools. These two villages are located in foot hills and having no transportation facility. A total of 62 kids benefited from this effort; their parents happily sent them to school; the dropout rate and irregular attendance rates were reduced; and none of the children were made to drop out of school or forced to work in any form.
