Annual Meet-up 2024
We recently had our Annual Meet at Sundaram Mahal, Theni on the 29th of May. All the children from our Vaanga Padikalaam project and their families participated in this event. This was the time for us to rejoice in the success of our children, particularly the 3 students who successfully cleared 12th and 2 children who came out of 10th board exams with flying colours.
This event was graced by Ms. Vathsala, Tamil Nadu Tribal Director – Theni and Mr. Selvam, NABARD Director. They congratulated the children and stressed the importance of continuing their education with the support of Nizharkudai. They distributed the awards to the successful children.
Ms. Architha Srinivasan, Chairperson of Nizharkudai, spoke about how her journey with Nizharkudai has been over the past 3 years. Mr. Prasanna Ramaswamy, Board Member, Nizharkudai, promised continued support to children that cleared 12th and told the parents that Nizharkudai will continue to supporting the kids through their college graduation as well.
No event of Nizharkudai is complete without the children showing their prowess in singing and dancing. It added so much colour to the entire event.
The participants were treated to a delicious lunch before they made their way back to their villages in arranged transportation.
